Executive Team
Geoff Wicks was named CEO of Group NBT plc in September 2001. At Group NBT, Geoff has the overall responsibility of managing the company's brands, NetBenefit, NetNames and Easily.co.uk, and for developing the group's corporate strategy to provide management services both for portfolios of domain names and hosting services.
Geoff came to Group NBT after a distinguished career at media giant, Reuters. During his time at Reuters, Geoff was responsible for a number of divisions both in the UK and in Europe and most recently headed up Corporate Relations | | | Raj Nagevadia joined Group NBT as Financial Controller in October 2003 and assumed the role of Finance Director in February 2004. Prior to this he was Financial Controller at Tempo plc, a national electrical retailer, has held various roles in an offshore oil and gas construction business and worked at a leading firm of accountants. | | | Colin Bell - Managing Director Business Services Division Colin Bell joined Group NBT in September 2006 as Group Sales and Marketing Director. Colin has spent almost thirty years in Information Technology, leading sales and marketing teams in high growth environments both in the UK and overseas. Since 1999, he has has been operating within internet-related businesses, most recently as EMEA Sales Director at Rackspace Ltd. Colin now has overall responsibility for Group NBT's Business Services Division comprising of NetBenefit Managed Hosting, the group's Online businesses which include Easily.co.uk and Speednames.com and Ascio which provides domain names services through over 300 different partners. | | | Gerry Lawrence joined GroupNBT in February 2007 and was appointed Chief Technical Officer in July 2007. Gerry is responsible for the management of Group NBT's technical operations and development. He has previously lead technical teams in several high growth and high profile UK and international internet businesses. His roles have included Head of Network Services at Demon Internet and Director of Global Hosting at Tiscali.
| | | David Gandy joined Group NBT in September 2007 as CEO of Ascio (now known as Group NBT A/S). Prior to this he has spent the last 25 years within the Financial Services sector as Global Managing Director, Business Development for Thomson Financial, Managing Director for NASDAQ Europe, Managing Director at Reuters Ltd and EVP of SKF Sweden AB.
He has lived and worked in Sweden, Holland, France, Germany, Japan and Scotland. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Studies. |
